Pinocchio doesn't know!

Gabbie and her 7th grade drama class staged the production of "Law and Order: Fairytail Unit" last night. It was very entertaining, sometimes humorous and sometimes difficult to understand since many of the kids delivered their lines at the speed of light due to nervousness! Gabbie played Pinocchio...

And a girl who brought in crime evidence to the court...

We had carefully selected her props, making sure to buy exactly what the drama teacher asked for. Lately, I've been working very hard to not micro-manage my daughter. I figure she knows what's needed in the way of homework and assignments such as this. I didn't know she also needed a baseball hat for the play. If I had, I most certianly would have chosen one from her father's closest that was a little more appropriate for a 13 year old girl to wear in a Christian School drama production. If her head was turned towards the camera in this shot, you could have seen the logo of her BICARDI RUM cap!!

Gabbie fought her first black belt matches last weekend. Ouch, I almost feel sorry for the THREE girls she beat!
And Corbin brought home the gold winning 2 matches. He has poured his heart and 59 lb body into this sport so sincerely, it was his time for a win!
